Sheridan joined Surf Lifesaving in 2005 after encouragement from family & friends. She feels it is a great way to  help out the community, stay fit & socialise. Along the way she has gained her Advanced Resuscitation Certificate, Surf Rescue Certificate and Bronze Medallion.

Sheridan said the highlight of being in Surf Lifesaving was winning the North Barrier Branch Pelerman Junior Lifesaver of The Year in 2007/08.
